Helping military families gain long-term stability is a specific concern for us. Worldwide Veteran and Family Services, Inc. has been impacting veteran families for generations and will continue for generations to come. The caregivers of Worldwide Veteran and Family also need help and that is why we formed Hearts of Valor.
We support every military family member. Each year we host a gala that recognizes extraordinary military kids and multiple Worldwide Veteran and Family Services, Inc celebrations: Star-Spangled Baby Showers, Back-to-School Brigades and Holiday Meals for Military events to show our appreciation to military spouses.
Service members disabled from injuries return home where they are discharged from the service. Our young returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan are at risk of becoming homeless if programs are not put into place to help these service members transition back into civilian life. Our Villages allow these service members to live rent free while they go through the transition process.
As generations of Americans have witnessed, veterans can be counted on to get the job done. However, many veterans return home with physical/emotional injuries or limited job skills that restrict their ability to find and hold jobs.
Worldwide Veteran and Family Services,Inc Employment & Training Program is nationally recognized for helping veterans obtain and retain jobs. Worldwide Veteran and Family Services,Inc. partners with educational institutions and businesses across New York to provide training, employment opportunities, placement, and support to our veterans in need.
